Groundwater Country Music Festival

A free, no-ticket-required country music festival that takes over the streets, parks and venues of Broadbeach for three days, featuring beachside line dancing, country markets and a lineup of award-winning... Australian country artists. It's grown into one of the biggest country music events outside Tamworth. Everything is set outdoors along the Broadbeach precinct, so the whole town gets involved.

2026 Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500

A street circuit motorsport festival through Surfers Paradise, hosting a round of the Supercars Championship finals alongside support races, live music and trackside entertainment across the long weekend.... Kids 12 and under attend free with a paying adult, and paddock passes offer access to meet the drivers. It's the Gold Coast's biggest motorsport weekend, closing off large parts of the beachfront strip.

2026 Pacific Airshow Gold Coast

A three-day aerial and beachside entertainment spectacular on the Surfers Paradise sand, featuring military and civilian aerobatic performers, a kids zone, STEM activities and performer meet-and-greets.... Best viewed from the beach itself, with several bar and restaurant packages sold nearby for elevated views. It's grown into one of the largest airshow events in the Southern Hemisphere.

SWELL Sculpture Festival

A free 10-day outdoor sculpture exhibition along Currumbin Beach, transforming the sand and headland into a public gallery of more than 60 large-scale works by local, national and international artists.... Alongside the sculptures there are artist talks, twilight walks, workshops and a kids' program. Now in its 22nd year, it's one of the longest-running arts events on the Gold Coast calendar.

BLEACH Festival

A major arts festival centred on HOTA at Surfers Paradise, mixing dance, theatre, music and immersive installations from Australian and international performers, including a 24-hour dance marathon staged... on the HOTA lake. The 2026 edition has shifted to October for the first time, running across 11 days. It's the Gold Coast's flagship contemporary arts event, with both ticketed shows and free public programming.
