A morning breakfast experience at Paradise Country farm in the Gold Coast hinterland where guests eat while meeting koalas and other native animals, followed by farm shows and activities included in general... admission. It's pitched as an easy half-day family outing that combines a meal with wildlife encounters. Tickets are sold directly through the venue.

A charity fun run held inside Dreamworld and WhiteWater World before the park opens to the public, with a 5km course and a 2km Junior Dash through colour zones and entertainment stations. Every runner... gets a finisher medal and the chance to raise funds for Dreamworld's charity partners. It's an early-morning, family-oriented event that mixes fitness with theme-park novelty.

A guided after-dark walk through Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary to meet nocturnal residents such as Tasmanian devils, paired with Yugambeh cultural storytelling, a light display and a spotlight search for... native wildlife. The evening finishes with traditional bush tea. It's a family-friendly way to see the sanctuary from a completely different angle to a normal daytime visit.

A permanent after-dark light and sound walking trail through the bushland at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, created by Moment Factory. Suitable for all ages, the 1.5km self-paced journey features illuminated... art installations, projections and music, with snacks and drinks available at the welcome area. It runs every Friday and Saturday night, with extra nights added during school holidays.

A festive night market held on the HOTA precinct lawns at Surfers Paradise, with handmade gifts, seasonal food stalls, live music, roving performers and a Santa photo opportunity. It runs as a single evening... event from 4pm to 9pm and is free to enter. A great option for families wanting to combine Christmas shopping with a fun night out by the water.
